Stumbled across this, some of them on on here are classics! Looks like the finest establishment going.

Only worth considering if you are interested in conducting a range of social and biological experiments. If you do decide to book, ensure that you are well prepared...

the Anne Frank line got me.

edit: amazingly this place ain't the bottom of the heap.

edit2: only because the hotels that rank below are the ones that haven't been rated yet. :cornlol:

I found Nanford guest house on lastminute rooms. The price of the hotel was cheaper in comparison to the others by about ten pounds.i can honestly say that it was a complete dissapointment. I have never stayed or been in such a disscusting house. On first entering the b&b i thought that i had turned up in a squat. The paper was peeling off the wall the room smelled of excrement. The toilet did not have enough room to stand or sit and i would not think about having a shower there as i think i would have come out dirtier then i went in. If i had not paid online i would have walked out and found somwhere else for sure. There were stray cats walking in the kitchen, pots and pans outside rubbish every where. i think the only thing that could rectify this place is a stick of dynamite to stop any other poor unsuspecting victims booking a room at this hell hole. I think that a visit from enviromental health would be worth while. To sum i wouldnt reccomend this place to my worst enemy
So Ninja's... Who's up for a challenge? haha

I stayed in a place in India that was pretty rough, to be fair I paid the equivilant of £1.50 for a night so I shoud have expected as much.

It was along the lines of a prison cell, a tiny ventilation window that basically just let mosquitos in, what looked like blood stains up the walls and a combine squat toilet/cold shower.

We basically stayed out till we couldnt keep our eyes open and made jokes about the blood looking stains being previous tenants suicide bids.

Fuck knows why we paid to stay in such a place as I came back after 5 weeks traveling with £200 still left and a months pay packet...

Haha wow what a review, I stayed in a wonderful hotel in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, place was absolutely ancient and falling apart, one of the rooms had been closed coz the roof had fallen in, and if you chipped away at the wooden balcony outside you would find termites inside. Loved the place though, amazing atmosphere, lovely town.

I have served in Afghanistan twice as im with the British forces and I would rather spend my nights in a mud compound in Helmand province than go back to that hole.
