Good match, rather hoped Balotelli would go and get himself sent off but there you go. Torres was just Torres as usual this season, both goals were quality (unlucky to the lad next to me down who popped out for a smoke and missed both of them), couldn't be fucked to stay for Ireland Croatia.

Why play with no striker? Just meant Italy could play as high up as they liked- only Iniesta was making incisive runs the whole time. He should have realised at half time and changed it round. That Spanish side should have destroyed that italy side and would have done if they'd played Llorente at the start- or brought him on at half time

well yeah, took out the rest of my point there. Bringing on Torres made the Spanish play a lot better as they actually had a focal point to build around upfront. Bringing torres on over llorente or negredo was ridiculous though, he shouldn't even be at the tournament after the last couple of years he's had.

They got a draw against probably the toughest team in their group, they should be happy with that.

I was pleasently surprised with the way the Italians played, enjoyed watching them. Only dissapointed with the result of the dutch game so far.
