Automating in Sync mode lfo = Unsmooth?

Post by Crosz » Sun Jun 10, 2012 5:50 pm

I am getting clicks or sounds that seem like glitches to me every time there is a change in Sync or beats mode in most synths I'm using. Current one being Fm8 Is there a way around this or is hertz the only option?

you could always just duplicate the channel and have a different rate on that one? some synths react like that to automating in sync mode, whereas others don't.

it may be time synched, but is it key synched? i.e. is it set so that the LFO re-triggers on the introduction of a new midi note. Try toggling this it's been known to affect automation in funky ways for me.
