(In massive) Set an oscillator to 2 above an octave, for example -10 or 14. Then use a pitch envelope on around -2.04 or something not exact to give a bit of unison. That should give you the pitch effect. The actual waveform sounds like one maybe two low octave saw's possibly a deep throat osc. Use a bandreject filter with an envelope on the cutoff to get the movement you want, and then distort, resample and EQ as necessary. Should get you what your looking for Megalodon uses reason btw, he's the fucking don atm
@Earjax.. thanks and damn I wish I've known earlier that he used reason.. I would have went there to make it.. Im sure he's using suBtractor synthesiser to remake it.. thats what coki would used.. they sound alike
man why do I even bother... Because I love it .. music life, music passion, music soul. Soundcloud
Love this track and all of the tracks in this EP have a similar bassline. It starts at 2:41. If anyone can help me make it in massive or ableton's operator that would the awesome! Thanks!

My best advice is to start from the basics and master that.. Take things slowly and learn about proper synthesis. And probably the most important thing is dont jump in the studio with a set idea. Jam out first.. if you force a noise it wont sound as good as a noise that just came from you messing about. The only times i ever come up with something truly unique it isnt when im trying to copy someone else... Its more like "what would happen if i did this"?

not a specific sound, but the song in general. sounds majorly compressed right? you can almost taste it. Anyone share their knowledge on what makes it sound like that
sorry to interrupt you lot wanking over generic wobble bass (joke joke joke), but can someone chime in on this guys question please?
The production is just unbelieveably tight, even by Synkro's standards. Obviously it's been mastered but hell.. there's got to be something else to it.

Sidechain compression and tight samples?
aka blinkesko Soundcloud Jesus Loves Electro - Burning Love (Augment remix)
Saw waves, detuned and some octaves apart, envelope to cutoff, depending on how you put it on, short/medium attack, or short decay. Delay and reverb make it bigger

How can you make vowel bass like this ? Is this the use of a formant filter like WOW or is this a completely different method ? Big thanks for and feedback

It sounds like just a basic square beneath a saw dealio. Its all in modulating the filter(s). The beginning is just simple lfo and then there is some modulation of a bandpass at the same time.
I'm trying to get a sound like the one thats at around .56. You hear the first bass sound at the drop and then theres like a vibratoey high pitched sound that he uses and is playing some notes with it. How would I achieve such a sound? I use Massive
Right I've had enoughhhhhh! I'm taking a stand for all of the guys who've been posting decent tunes and not this Porter Robinson/Skrillex/Megadoalon or whatever the fuck his name is bollocks. We want to make music with some SOUL.
I've had a look through the old versions of these threads and it's the same damn question after another, yet people always ignore the deep emotive synths, probably cos you can't get a preset in massive for them
So first of all - repost, main synth in this Synkro tune:-
And this main synth, but really ANYTHING by George Fitzgerald. His synths are always so emotive and deep:-

Stop being a douchbag and maybe I'll have an attempt at answering your question. This is a help me make this sound thread, not a "help me make a sound, but only the type of sounds that I like" thread.
Synkro tune is massive by the way. Synth itself sounds relatively simple. I'll have a go at it later tonight when I get home.
