A wip I've been working on that I'd like a bit of feedback on.
Allow the possible few issues.

Folks seem to be saying that to me Immerse.
I'll work on it.
Less Reece more tribal vocal me thinks.

Electric i posted on your SC. I like that tune, the bass is cool and its got a good groove to it. It is kinda long though... were you planning on shortening it or keeping it that long?

and I agree with bringing the vocals back into the body of it

I reckon the vocals will make an appearance and less reece as I said.
I may shorten it, I'm not sure.
I have no problem with long tracks.
Any opinions on the lead section at the end?

I think its good, I would bring out the lead a little more maybe... maybe its just my cans im not on my real speakers but it seems a little too set back in the mix

It's a very dreamy, melodic track.
Nice work with the backing atmosphere up to 1 minute or so.
The midrange is too loud imo.
You can use some variety on the drum programming later on.

coo coo thx yea been really getting into theory lately and trying to bring melodic vibes together with midrange power

i was back and forth on lowering the midrange presence, and i did bring it down from where it was ha.. but thx for the feedback!

The sub is too high in the pitch imo, and i agree the drum pattern could use some work, it gets kinda repetitive towards the end of the tune.

@Climax - it's not really my cup of tea I'm not really a fan of the drum samples or the midrange, but the atmosphere/sub around it is lovely.

@ElectricHead - I agree with the reece decision (I'm actually not really feeling reeces at all atm). I'd probably prefer it a bit more sub-centric with a more sparing reece presence. The incidentals are wicked though, and the vibes still had me head-nodding. Still, I've got nuff respect for your tracks. Big up, as always :Q:

yah climax that sub needs to come down an octave, it wont move any bit of air on subs. maybe bring it up to the original octave on select parts, like an A/B section, one with hard hitting low bass, and one with that high vibratey melodic bass.

I just finished up a work i've been at for way too long. I would like if you guys could check it out and tell me what you think, especially of the mix. Mixes have been my biggest struggle lately.

Thanks kidshuffle

I'm loving your beat as always.
The vocal works really well.
Rnb with an edge.
Who is the vocalist? He's almost Andre 3000 like.
Love the backing pad as well, simple yet incredibly effective.

Immerse - Nothing wrong with the mix other than the kick as mentioned.
The track itself has a nice flow.
The kick just stands out, imo a deeper kick will be better.
Nice percussion work and backing melody.
Effective vocal use as well.

immerse the reverb on that 1st clap is sick, i agree tho the kick could be a little quieter, sub/mix sounds good tho

kidshuffle i love that, pads are tight as are hats. i dont usually like a lot of effects on vocals, but this is done pretty well, dont mind it as much

my dub is in sig :)

That's pretty outstanding rayman.
All it needs is a massive feedback loop somewhere.

warlord is mad good. percussion is on point, loving those whistles too. not 100% on the reese though.

immerse - loving it. great progression throughout the track, love the subtlety of the vocal too. kick is a bit too loud like everyone else has said. otherwise the mix is sounding great, everything sits nicely

dammmn kidshuffle. always nice to see something other than dubstep. this is a JAM. love dis. nice work on those effects on the vocals too

thanks for the reviews guys, i agree with the the kick point. are you guys thinking the higher frequencies are too loud or the whole thing? ie. should i hi-pass/hi-shelf the whole kick down to a lower frequency or should i simply turn it down? I wanted it loud for the sub frequencies so that when the kick hit at the beginning of a sub note it would add a punchiness to the sub when it sidechained.
