both of these tracks are great, but most of the tracks with vocals I end up thinking that the track would better off without them. Hook me up with more good garage! Are there any mixes your recommend?

Most of the 2-Step producers usually say the opposite. I believe El-B says in that masterclass vid that he just swings the hi-hats and percussion but not the kicks and snares. He used 16T on the hats.

In that Wideboys vid that was posted here, he ran all the drums through 16T.

Play around with the quantization amount. In that Wideboys vid, he had up at like 90%. I have also gotten good results applying something like 45%. It all depends on the riddim. One technique I used to employ a lot was to first quantize everything at 16ths and then apply the 16T to what I want swung and play with the percentages.
