Saw this. It is good. I can see why some people think Phil Fish is tnuc. I have no opinion either way. The Super Meat Boy developers were the most interesting to me.

Jonathan Blow is one of the most fascinating men on the planet its 90% of the reason why I am watching it.
Blow is definitely intriguing
in spite of being successful and a millionaire his house just has a basic setup of minimal utilitarian furniture and a bunch of empty space because of it
The Witness I have hope for, Braid was good, but a bit overhyped and he took it a lil personal when people didn't get his deep personal message hidden in it
He's an interesting guy and unfortunately the antisocial bit of him comes out when he does interviews and he can come off as a dick at times
If anything he reminds me a lot of Venetian Snares, someone who loves doing their own thing, prefers being alone to their own devices, but gets forced in the limelight
Was in the mood for something fucked up and came across Julien Donkey-Boy, directed by Harmony Korine.
Excellent attempt at conveying what it must feel like to be schizophrenic and living in a dysfunctional environment. With a very convincing performance by Ewen Bremner in the lead role.
If you have liked Korines other work (eg. Kids, Gummo, Trash Humpers), you'll enjoy this.

Kids and Gummo, yes, but Trash Humpers was fucking terrible. I could almost hear him laughing "These dumb fucks will watch anything".
I thought Trash Humpers was alright. Def nowhere near as good as Gummo but it's weirdness and darkness made for an OK watch.
Staying on a Harmony Korine tip, I have Mister Lonely lined up for tonight...
In Paris, a young American who works as a Michael Jackson lookalike meets Marilyn Monroe, who invites him to her commune in Scotland, where she lives with Charlie Chaplin and her daughter, Shirley Temple.
Didn't like Mister Lonely as much. Thought Humpers is great with many good quotes and really is the first one that takes his nonlinear jumbled vision to the next level. He's talked about the backstory before (elderly peeping toms when he was a kid lol) so it lived up to expectations.
Best part of Julien is Werner Herzog addicted to DXM.
His new one is a normal movie with Disney actors like Selena Gomez lol. Spring Break - Summer Break... something.

some of the fight scenes went on way too long, but it was sick, did live up to the hype
Finally got some good subtitles for this, I know it won't matter that much but it was still annoying to have 'you go sleep now good' etc... jus made them all seem retarded
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWF0bBKhe6o 'Beyond the Black Rainbow' Some of the visuals were intense..not without its faults and its as po-faced as you can get but I did enjoy, plus the musics off its face
