Problems working with long audio files?
So, recently I've been experimenting with drones and ambient synths and such, and one of my favourite new toys has been paulstretch. Problem is, I like to stretch the audio out to fairly long values (like 30 mins or more). Audacity will load these long files fine, but when I try to import them into FL Studio to mess around with them, I get an error message saying "Out of memory". I have 8 GBs of RAM and 64-bit Windows installed, so I don't see how memory could be a problem, considering the files load fine in other programs. Am I the only one having this problem, and, if not, any suggestions on what I should do instead? I suppose I could just chop the audio into more digestible chunks in Audacity, but I honestly hate chopping audio in that program.
