Sonny - Obscure Path

Post by Sonny » Mon Jun 18, 2012 12:20 pm

Soundcloud

I gave a lil bit more time than my other tracks and I wasn't that lazy to not find and add some samples.

In my opinion this is my best work so far but still not happy about it. So I wish to get atleast one comment about this. Please.

One Love.

I like the really eery feel to the track! This track can definitely evolve into something cool.

The drums sound a bit bland. They don't sound like they fit with the eeriness very well. Maybe adding some reverb will do the trick. Other than the drums, the eery ambiance, and the few samples you threw in there, there isn't much going on, but then again that might be the way you want it to be. I'd suggest experimenting with more dark eery sounds to just add more layers to the track.

Hope that helps some!

Nice little tribal riddim you got their. I am TERRIBLE at programming conga drums and such so it amazes me when people do it. The only thing I would do is add a bit more atmosphere and switch up the drums (snares are very crisp btw) and beat every once and a while. You kind of have a loop that is very obvious. I like the hats a lot though that you have in the background. Cool track though all things considered.
