went to pick up tickets for mala/joe nice (not pissed off part)
and checked out this record store ive been meaning to stop in for a while, place was hipster central
had a cafe & some dude making wraps... as for the records in the "record store" there were hardly any there, everything was overpriced, (some cool planet mu records and stuff but i can buy them online +shipping for less than the prices), also they had a decent selection of hip hop, but was also overpriced as well, not a single 12" was under $7
also when i went to go check out a record, there wasnt even a needle on the turntable, ask the dude about it, he doesn't even listen to me and turns the fader on the mixer (not realizing i actually own the exact same mixer that was there) i say "can i have the needle???" open my hand, he grabs the stylus, doesn't hand it to me and then puts it on the turntable
i didnt even listen to the record, just left, shit is lame, shouldve known not to check out a record store when its in the most "hip" neighborhood in the whole city
