I thought about it the other day. About what I would do if my house caught fire. I think I would also be the risk of some serious injury to save all my plates and a hard drive full of music. Think back to your house burned down and find this huge chunk of melted wax that was your vinyl collection of thought scares me a little.

Everyone forgot about this great thread. I've bought a lot of records since January and I have to say my top five now is:
Loefah- Root / The Goat Stare
Mala- Blue Notez / Left leg Out
Kromestar - Kalawanji / Surgery
Peverelist - Roll With The Punches
and Kahn - Like We Used To / Helter Skelter

However, Hijak - Butcha / Tears will shoot to the top of the list when it sees a release.

On the more 130 side of things, my 5 are -
Boddika & Joy O - Dun Dun / Prone
Burial & Fourtet - Nova
Falty DL - Mean Streets Pt. 2
Zed Bias - Stubborn Phase EP
and WK7 / Head High - Do it Yourself / Rave

And As for other genres
Gap Mangione - Diana in the Autumn Wind (sample to Slum Village - Fall in Love as well as Jaylib - The Official)
Common - Ressurection LP (first pressing with his name witten as Common Sense before the lawsuit and change)
A Tribe Called Quest - 1nce Again
Pink Floyd - Medle
Wu-Tang Clan - Protect Ya Neck / M.E.T.H.O.D. Man
suuuuuuuuuuuuu

Digital Mystikz - Education/Horrid Henry
Tunnidge - Geddeon/Face Melt
Compa - Dem A Talk
VIVEK - Eyes Down EP
Paradise - In Love With You

Still pretty new to mixing vinyl, only been doing it for a month.. so the first 4 are ones I always go for, they're easier and just a joy to mix. The last one is just a great tune, I'm really gutted it hasn't been sunny more cause my turntables are set so I'm looking out the window and its such a summer song!

if we're talking only dubstep

DMZ - Dubsessions
DMZ - Anti War dub / Haunted
Horsepower - Quest for the sonic bounty
DMZ - Return 2 Space
Loefah - Jungle Infiltrator

picking 5 only out of my whole collection would be a tough one

I like that he put in the Horsepower album. Not incredibly rare, but great nonetheless. It's hard not to just list your 5 most sought after records, but it's really the 5 that mean the most to you.

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.
