Used to love MITB (and Bastard Noise) back when I was into hardcpre, powerviolence etc, but that's a dickhead move on Wood's part. Unsurprising really. A lot of "real" hardcore people come off as giant douches imo.

Word, the scene is really divided. There's some really cool heads in there, or the biggest dicks ever. Little middle ground.

Yep, that sure taught me to never get a damn tattoo.

I've started buying vinyl again, slowly going to piece together as much as Terminal Static i can. I think there's only like 4 exclusive tracks on the CD? Also, i ordered the Cdatakill/Abelcain release! Also copped DJ Hidden - Worlds Below (all parts), VS - Hospitality and VS - Cubist Reggae!

Honestly, if i could get my two favourite releases, Nero's Day At Disneyland - From Rotting Fantasylands and Dev/Null - Lazer Thrash, i'd be set! They're the only (somewhat) major thing that i like that weren't pressed . I used to think i couldn't get any of my favourites on wax, and never really bothered to look for other breakcore stuff on the medium, but it's just those two really. Probably cus they're weird and on a shit label.

EDIT: Also Access to Arasaka's stuff, would love that on vinyl :(

On the topic of Hidden...

Soundcloud

Why do so many awesome producers in one style make/like something pretty lame in another? o.O

Whuuuuuuut, that's quite crap. Also, i was realllllllly disappointed with the DJ Hidden + Broken Note release, something like that could have massive potential, but together it's kind of... meh. Apart from the gabber kicks at the start, i can't really see Hidden's influence.

I can hear quite a bit of Hidden in there.... the melody in the beginning, some of the drum processing.. etc.

I actually don't think the kicks are Hidden's haha. They're really simple and shit. Hidden tends to have more... refined and layered kicks.

I didn't know of this release, though. Not THAT into it, but it's not that bad.

Dunno if this is Hidden or Eye-D.... it has elements I associate with both so.. maybe a collab? But that does a waaay better job at a hardcore/dubstep hybrid. The last minute is brutal.

I didn't really feel it too much.

Just discovered this:

I think it's pretty sick. Know anything else like it?

Yeaah, check out 'Hazard Units Part 1' by Senical. It's a loooot dirtier, though.

That Senical stuff is pretty intense, might grow on me if i expose myself to more of it.

Also, this is Roly Porter's (from vex'd) new project. I absolutely love it. Its pretty fucking dark , droney and noisey, thought it would be appropriate to post here:

Know any other dark noisey ambient stuff?

I just got this on wax:

Also, this is pretty cool, i know nothing of metal or the sort, but i'm liking this.

Bump.

Finally listened to the Ruby My Dear album, damn fine.

Quite a few tracks not on youtube, definitely worth hearing the whole thing.

New Bong-Ra, one for the 'militant' fans.

I've never liked bong-ra... seems so clumsy and messy and not in a fun way.

Dawn Of The Megalomaniacs too. CV/Machine Code + thrash metal riffage. Artificial Flesh is pretty sick as well. Though nobody does the breakcore/death metal/metalcore thing better than Drumcorps imo.
