Tearout producers that deepheads like...

Post by Trichome » Fri Jun 22, 2012 5:54 pm

I know this is a bad idea, but oh well.
Im not exactly a deephead, but i'll start of with one producer:

Kromestar, Coki
I wouldn't call them 'tearout producers' but they make a lot of it and are proof it can be done well without being cheese/annoying.

I'm really into Vex'd, Tom Encore (Recoil is fucking huge), Coki, and maybe like a quarter or Bar 9's tracks. That's really it though.
I think there might be a thread like this already.

I never liked that style where the synth switches every 2 bars... annoying imo. Prefer those stretched out ones like

Yeah Kromestar and Coki spring to mind, though I wouldn't really call them tearout producers. Imo they are one of the few producers out there that are capable of producing 'hard' tunes that are well produced and easy to listen to at the same time.

There was also this release by The Aliens on Sin City that I bought on vinyl when it came out. Not really feeling it that much anymore but it's not too bad.

All the standard people that sit somewhere on the edge of this stuff that have been mentioned.

And why not, a quick honourable mention to this one...

This tune has SMASHED it for me for sooo long. Wrecked so many dance floors with this fucker...

Not into any new artists labeled as tearout tbf but i dont exactly look haha. Coki and Kromestar are pretty much a given & the whole Dubstep Allstars 5 has a more up beat 'tearout' feel to it imo and I aboslutly LOVE that mix.
