Stupid people

Post by Rezzidex » Mon Jun 25, 2012 9:01 am

Sup dubheads ,a few days ago i was waiting for my friend to come pick me up ,to go to his place it was his birthday.I saw these two really cute girls i approached them cuz i was bored and i started speaking ,and we went on about random stuff and we came to the music opinion part,they ofcourse said they like lady gaga,david guetta ...and i said i like dubstep,dnb,hardstyle,and they were like "the fuck is dubstep i heard about it but i never got the chance to acctually hear the music" so i took my phone i played them a few tracks from dmz and i think one from scuba and they were like "how can you listen to this its so boring".Now this part i dont get in the 21st century everyone is blahbering about being open minded and shit,but i think its more of a theory,because when people dont understand something they think it sucks.So why should i do proggressive deep tunes when no one is acctually gonna take the time to listen to it,ohh and i played them at the end a skrillex song they liked it and one of the girls asked "are thouse sound made by a guitar" (-_- yes thats how stupid they are) ,i would love to hear some of your situations with people that had a intresting reaction to dubstep.anyways in these moments i loose motivation to make music, because i can see how many people listen to just the surface of the music no one diggs deeper.even if you guys dont have anything to say i just wanted to share this with the dubstep community just so you know that people like this exsist,so we know what we are deeling with lol,This is a fucked up world- right?

..because you enjoy making music and you enjoy listening to it when it's done?

You can't do things in life based on other people liking it, you should be doing music for you.

As for your story, yeah man it can suck when people don't understand this kind of music, but it makes you happy so that's all that should really matter.

Stupid people are just as real and important as you and everyone else. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble by accepting this.

Also might be worth maintaining some decent grammar when making threads titled "Stupid people". :W:

I was in this situation once where this guy showed me a dubstep song off his phone and I thought It was shit. I told him I thought it was shit so he killed himself.

so in order to impress some 'dumb girls' you'd forego making tunes that you 'like' in order to make pop crap you dont 'like'

it'll be sad, to see you leave our community, but GO FORTH!! be the best you can be, and godspeed, Rezzidex.

People didn't like the same music as you?! I'd alert the tabloids at once if I were you.

i'd be surprised if someone was immediately turned on to a style of music by hearing a few seconds of it in a context that's not really conducive to appreciation....

and so what if they thought whatever sound could be made with a guitar? ever seen an effects pedal?

also, hardstyle is shit.

Only in the USA:
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Do_quotation_ ... stion_mark
In the UK and Canada
The punctuation follows the logical extension of the quote.
The period or comma goes outside the quotation mark, except where the period is part of a quote.

Some hardstyle/hard trance is genuinely interesting, good production, variation etc etc. But like so many genres, it's easy to get lazy and the big name producers who put out lazy tracks inspire the next generation of producers to make equally lazy track, so the prophecy becomes self fulfiling.

Stuff like this;

I genuinely enjoy. 2m25s on for that break is lush.

And Arome (Scot Project) has amazingly good arrangements on his tracks;

4m20s on for that breakdown is quality, the call & response on the riffs is nothing short of genius IMO.

ofcourse they dont like the same music as me,thats normal.But for examp. when i first heard jazz i didnt really like it,but i didnt say "its boring" or "it sucks" i didnt understand it and i knew i had to be patient and try to understand it.The point of this thread is just to show everyone how people are ignorant and not patient.i see that none of you understood what i wanted to say but it doesnt matter,i was acctually expecting hate and stupid comments,so its cool.>all of you that replied faster than you read my post are not so diffrent from these dumb girls.:)
