One of which it was by someone who we thought was our mate and his absolute beast of a brother. Another time I was at a party in a hall where I saw some kids sniffing up in the toilet, an hour and a half later it was the same kids who wacked my mate round the face with a brick.

If you can show me a group of lads who sniff coke at every night and don't get all rowdy and make a scene, then I'll widen my mind to them, but until then...

Also I'm not saying DJ's don't it. I couldn't care less about them anyway. I'm talking about it in the context of the night we were at. System. Not fabric, or fucking Venue or some shit.

If they or the DJ's were loading their noses up at fabric or venue, I wouldn't think anything of it. But this is system. That's what I'm saying. It doesn't suit the night. IF it was coke, that is.

I'm not trying to make some big deal about it, I just thought why would you want to sniff coke at a foundation dub/dubstep night on a pitch black dancefloor when half the crowd are smoking weed around you and even the DJ is going on about needing to roll a joint. It just seemed a bit out of place to me - probably because of my conception, or misconception of the drug... How else can I put it?

But was I honestly the only person who thought the rig was pretty fucked for the last hour at least? Weirdly enough, id say the first system had eeeaasily the most pressure. I mean, he has doubled the size of the rig, but that doesnt make too much of an impact when youre up against one of the stacks. Seems perhaps he bought another wall of subs but not enough amp to push them both properly? Cos like, in all seriousness the bass was pretty pathetic for the last hour or so. Think back to one of the DMZs where the system was firing properly, tunes would be literally battering you with air. The first system had that feeling for me, but not the last two. And by the end of the last one it was akin to a reasonably normal club system I thought. And while thats still a good thing, for a night called System hosted by Vivek and Mala I would expect pressure to be top of their list of priorities!

Just to add by the way NONE of that is a whinge! The only reason I care is cos of how much importance system as a night carries for me! I just hope that Vivek eventually gets the system sounding like it should! Could definitely see viveks frustration in the last hour. Every 5 mins having to get that poor bloke to go behind the amp and switch it off and on again.

Oh yeah and people could totally have spotted me on that bus. I should have come said hi to people, but that upper deck was sounding fucking LIVELY lol

oh, and me and my mates were absoloutely creasing at how many people got off the bus together. The whole upstairs cleared out, and it just straight up looked like that scene from the life of brian where all the soldiers are coming out of the judean peoples fronts hideout
