I'd say, as someone who smokes weed almost every day, that you should wait till you're at least 17/18...Not because its bad for younger people per se, but its simply better when you're older. You don't have to worry about hiding it from people, you know who you are as a person and so what you want out of life, you avoid all kinds of stupid shit. When I was younger and smoking weed I'd just do the most stupid shit, like walk fucking miles in the rain, wait three hours for a shit deal of shit weed and then smoke unsatisfying spliffs in car parks. Because I knew no better.

But if you do it right from the start, maybe you'll be ok. But still, you need to know who you are before you start fucking with your brain.

this may sound sort of pretentious, and people might scoff at me, but I feel like I already know what I want out of life. And I'm buying my weed from a friend of mine who deals (he's a year younger than me actually, and he's a pretty nice guy, he sells you a gram for $10), so I don't think I'm getting any shitty deals. I don't know about the actual quality of the weed, but it seems fine.

Obviously DSF ain't your dad, we can't tell you what to do or nuffin, but I would seriously recommend waiting. When you're 14-16 drug experiences are like 40% good times, 60% bad. Only once you get out of puberty and all the angst and shit that comes with it will you start having 100% good times.

Definitely don't take anything harder than grade till later on at least.

This to me, shows you don't really But that's ok, there's no rush.
If you think you know, you don't. I don't know what I want from my life man, I've got a general picture of where I fit in to the whole shebang (thank you acid - SONIKA DO NOT TAKE LSD YET) but its always changing. Thats the point. "The way that can be named" and all that.
You're gonna live for another 60 odd years (if you're lucky), so don't rush into anything, least of all mind altering substances.

Asif your 14 & 16, but yeah drugs tend to go wrong at those ages, specially class A's. I had some serious fucked up nights on E at 14-15 and also the first time you whitey (for me anyway) is gonna be the scariest thing haha

the first time i drank i had half a litre of ouzo...bad idea...i thought it was funny to stick my head in the way of a home made flame thrower (deoderant + lighter) burnt all my face...started seeing triple vision which to this day i havnt been able to achieve again..and blacking out and waking up on the pavement every few seconds...baddddd..btw i was actually 14 at the time

fair enough. for the record, it's not because of angst or anything (I don't live a particularly angsty lifestyle - I live in an upper middle class family, get along fine with my parents, etc), it's just for feeling good and having a fun time with friends - I did way too much recently and I got extreme paranoia though, so I don't think I'll be doing high dosages again anytime soon.

I'm not saying I have my whole life planned out, I just feel like I've figured out what my philosophies/values are and how I want to lead my life.
