Si: "They could play dub all night and I would've been happy"
Me: "Yeah, same here"
Dubstep drops:
Me: "Hey, this is actually pretty good, I'm enjoying it!"
Si: "Yeah, me too!"
DnB drops:
Si & I: "Fuck yeah!!!"
Great night.

Re: System June 23rd
Really enjoyed reading the past few pages in here and being reminded of how much of a great night it was
I may have spoken to some ninjas but probably not. I was kinda stood front and centre if not a few people back from the barrier most of the night in an Anti-Long tee. Jammed for a bit on the stage/balcony in bits just to soak it all in.. A lot of people in bad ways up there in the dark corners with heads in the their knees and shit.
Anyone know what Amit's first dubstep tune was? It had a long intro just like Drilla Killa did when the switch up came. He played some ruthless tunes! Dreams by Truth always goes down a treat for me as I have a lot of time for pulsating sub-bass. Also he played Pinch - Love Like which was heavyyyyy salad! Anyone notice he was using a Midi controller? was surprised to see that but the thing (i think it was a Vestax) had about 6 channels!
Think the fact there was no Mala meant the siren didn't get rinsed but at no point did it piss me off anyway! I quite enjoyed it! I've heard systems before where the siren seriously pierces your ears and just hurts far too much. VIVEK was a great host and selection was on point. I was gonna say tho that there wasn't any Loe tunes played but I forgot about 50,000 watts! Would of loved to have heard some classic Loe tunes.
The fact Yunx was there teased me all night. I was just thinking if it was kept strictly to 2 vinyl decks we could of been in for something so fucking special. Loe dubs galore! Plenty of old school and you know it.

was a sick night..
with regards the weight on the system i think it depended on where you were standing.. i was walkin around a bit to findthe perfect place and found that moving a couple of inches in certain places made a massive difference.. not sure why tho

with any system in any room there will be sweet spots where the sound is betteroski wrote:was a sick night..

the way i have my speakers in my room means the sweet spot is right in the middle of my room but i not by my decks, so i stand back by a couple of feet and suddenly i start thinking i should turn it down!!
serious, a few inches of movement can add or remove an audible difference in sound!

Yeah I was at the back- back right at a few points as my mates were lagging and it is just not the same as being bang in the middle of that speaker stack.oski wrote:was a sick night..

Also being able to look in all directions and see people you know looking happy as fuck is quite nice

Fuck man re-reading this thread makes me want to be back, I'm gonna be honest and say I wasn't really feeling a lot of the tunes of this one as much as the last two, but I am a massive whore for classic dmz plates - but fuck man the vibes! Such a good atmosphere

it was several reloads, then second drop got a couple aswell, think it is 7 wheels in total, each met with huge raucous cheer from the crowd..the wiggle baron wrote:You can tell if someone was there straight away! You just knowT_! wrote: I'd hasten to agree with you a bit..
Loe 50,000 watts remix for example.. I said to my mrs "this will hurt, it made people fall over at the 2nd birtday when it dropped![]()

Re: System June 23rd
Finally have time to sit down and write about Saturday night.
I had the most amazing time! Was so nice to have every single one of my favourite people around me all at the same time. Got a bit emotional at one point as I looked around and saw all the happy faces around me.
I have to apologise to anyone that crossed my path on Saturday night, I was more fucked up than I've ever been. On my second come up everything started getting a little weird, everyone across the room had a face like Ross Kemp folds and I was convinced Dubluke was the living dead. I kept forgetting what I was trying to say to people, or I'd realise it was just me tripping half way through a sentence and what I was saying was just bullshit.
I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised by Amit's set, I wasn't expecting it to be anywhere near as good as it was.
Got some good videos which I'll upload and post on here shortly.
