Drum Dub
Drum Dub
Fucking awesome new genre that's getting pushed by big names like skrillex. Basically it's dubstep pitched up to drum and bass bpms. Check it out!

Re: Drum Dub
Drumstep is at 175 bpm with half time drums... Drum dub does not exist. Drumstep isn't really even a legit genre in my mind._cheef_ wrote:no, drumstep is Drum n' Bass with Dubstep Drums. This is a false statement_cheef_ wrote:You see, drumstep is at dubstep tempo (140 bpms)

Clearly says that it's a subgenre of drum and bass, keeping the tempo of 175, but switching the drums to half time...

Under the subgenres section... "Drumstep = (It's Dubstep with Drum n' Bass tempo, or Drum n' Bass with Dubstep Drums)"

Re: Drum Dub
okay well you have to remember that this is a relatively new genre so I strongly doubt you're going to find it in wikipedia or whatever

Re: Drum Dub
It will never be in wikipedia because "Drum dub" is already called Drumstep... I don't get what's so hard to understand about that...._cheef_ wrote:okay well you have to remember that this is a relatively new genre so I strongly doubt you're going to find it in wikipedia or whatever

Re: Drum Dub
lol its funny enough that people make these completely abstract names, but when they try and explain what some of them represent and don't have a clue themselves its comedy gold.
