Logic ES2 Question

Post by WCTPro » Thu Jun 28, 2012 11:10 pm

Does anyone know if its possible to limit LFO 2 to only certain speeds? Because I don't need 1/64th or 32 bars lol, this would make it a lot easier when using my midi keyboard.
Thanks a bunch!

Split the frequencies into bands and just automate the one you want

I think he means that he wants the LFO speed knob to only switch between like 1/4t, 1/8, 1/8t and 1/16 or something, as opposed to having a bunch of speeds that are uselessly slow or fast.

Best way to get your LFO speed the way you want is to just program a little automation.

Another tip: On the oscillators in ES2, if you go to the "sine" option on any of the 3 oscillators, and then click on the word "sine" and drag up, you should be able to change to even more oscillator options. Pretty cool. I discovered this COMPLETELY randomly. No idea why apple made such a weird system to get more oscillator types, but at least they're there.

Yeah good tip for sure, my favorite is probably the organ 9 for basses and stuff, pretty gritty :)!
