Thought the highs were painful. Could have used attenuation. Was about 200-300 gallons of human back from the speakers.

Did think S and E's sets were too long. Was having fun, but was just getting a little bored.

honestly thought the system was much better than i expected. the venue was strange enough to host something like that, and the people running it were amateurs. i was imagining mala playing on a couple monitors lol. that would have been some shit right there. so im glad we had some low end reinforcement, albeit barely hitting 40 hz. the system could have been much better, but it could have been so much worse!

hah. well, big up to joe nice for playing on a system like that. for me, that's all i really ask when i play out these days is a nice soundsystem that can hit on the low end, so i feel mala if that's why he bounced early. luckily the collective i am associated with has a disgusting soundsystem. will post a pic of it when i get home

the rig was custom built and designed, the bassbins are front loaded horn drivers, with 2 12" subs in each bin--some serious weight coming out of those.

That night, I got the worst cotton mouth of my life. Wifsey and I went to the bar to get a drink, but when I got there I realized, I couldn't talk, like my mouth was literally glued together. I look at my wife, and just try to beam the thought to her. The bar lady starts coming over, and I'm like, "ormer mwo nrink, ormer mwo nrink!"

I repeated it over and over, she nodded her head like, "Got it!" when bar lady gets there bar lady looks at me, I look at my wife, like, "yeah, here we go!" My wife just stares at me... I'm like fuck, so I ask the bar lady, "ann me mave mwo mader?" She just pointed to the water and cups and walked away.
