Warm Pads/Atmospherics

Post by Primitiv » Tue Jul 03, 2012 12:54 am

How can i achieve warm pad sounds, much like the sounds in Distance - Delight.

What effects can make a pad 'warmer'.

Slow long phasers/flangers, saturation/distortion, slight delay, and reverb up the butt

Let the man himself tell you how he makes his pads.

Personally, I favor the Paulstretch.

Nexus is no better than so many other synths.
It's just knowing how to create warm pads, not synth specific.
