There isn't even any grass, just a dusty concrete industrial wasteland. There's broken glass and nails everywhere. Everything is horrificly expensive and no good.

Save yourself some money and avoid.
out of interest, what did you see when you went there?

Saw dreadzone and some other bands. Its the venue thats horrendous though, they're months behind schedule. It's dangerous.

If it was dangerous as you make it out to be, H&S wouldn't have even let them get past the planning stage of the festival and they would've been refused PL insurance...

I kid you not, there was broken glass and nails all over the ground. which in instelf was concrete, big rocks and dust. hopefully they will have sorted more stuff out by the time BLOC is on, if not you'll see for yourselves.

My housemate went to the Dreadzone thing at the weekend and didn't mention the venue being horrible; let's face it, it can't be as bad as Hemsby Pontins.

I thought the whole point of it was to be industrial and sketchy looking?

Well, it is in the docklands, and is like an old warehouse/factory whatever, what did you expect, lush meadows and a fine sandy beach?

Not at all, but was definitely suprised at the large ammount of broken glass and nails.

Meh I'm not bothered. I can get that experience wandering around the wrong parts of Plymouth anyway so I've still bought a ticket. Line up is good enough that I don't care where it is.

Oo! I could stay on the boat most of that night in that case! Although it could mean missing Shackleton :corncry: Having said that, I'm not sure I would really want a whole night of Bodikka/Joy O/etc.

Might end up being:
- Ceephax
- Deadboy
- Pinch
- Redinho
- Nicolas Jaar
- Digital Mystikz (or Appleblim?)
- Shackleton
- ??? (Mosca? Food?)
- Snoop Dogg
- ???
- Richie Hawtin
- Hudmo
- Addison Groove

If anyone misses Nicolas Jaar I will cry. So, so...so...SO gutted im not going to see him.

But again a quick shout for my mate, still very much looking to sell his weekend ticket! Theyre all sold out now, so again, for a few quid cheaper you can be there still! And yeah, no hassle with tickets with names or anything. Just print out his e-ticket and your in!
