TEA!

Post by Phigure » Mon Jul 09, 2012 8:18 am

who better to ask than a forum full of a bunch of brits?

got any recommended brands/types? ive always hated it, but lately it's grown on me so much that i'm drinking 5-6 cups a day. started off drinking loads of iced tea these last few months and then i gave the real thing a try...

rooibos is made from some sort of root I believe. Tastes like a faint earthy vanilla. Nice for a caffeine free tea before bed.
I personally like to drink the green tea with toasted barley in it that I get from my local japanese foods store.

I wouldn't go with any brands. Especially not tea bags. If you want some serious loose tea at a very good price I highly recommend this shop http://www.yunnansourcing.com/store/
My favourite Teas on their are:
http://www.yunnansourcing.com/store/pro ... oduct=1588
http://www.yunnansourcing.com/store/pro ... oduct=2084
http://www.yunnansourcing.com/store/pro ... oduct=2108
http://www.yunnansourcing.com/store/pro ... oduct=2035

If you put milk in your tea forget the above :D

Bewley's Gold Blend the very best! I drink tea way too much though, average 6/7 cups a day.

My favourite :U: It's really good with milk and honey
Discovered a really cool tea shop selling all sorts of different mixes of rooibos. Bought me rooibos with orange, rooibos with almond, marzipan and pineapple and rooibos with cola nuts and caramel. Fucking lovely.
