Played goalie for my brother's dek hockey team last night at 11, got home at midnight, didn't have time to shower even though I was drenched in sweat. Didn't fall asleep until 1 and had to wake up today at 5am for work.

Woke up at 5, snooze till 5:30... next thing I know it's 5 till 6 and I have to leave asap.

Don't take a shower, find a pair of "clean" boxers and make it to work 2 minutes late.

Worked 8 hours smelling like goalie pads and feeling like absolute shit

Takes five mins, fuck that. There have been a few nights (maybe 4 or so) where I have come in from a night out from anytime from 3am to 7am and said fuck this and got in the shower .
Trying to sleep while covered in dried sweat has to be one of my most hated annoyances in all the world along with trying to sleep with socks on and being stuck in jeans when its 20 degrees+ outside.

I wouldve taken a shower, but b/c i had to wake up early i thought BETTER GET ALL THE SLEEP I CAN

I went down on my knee to save a ball in hockey which I shouldn't have done.
Took a Shot on the kneecap.
Now I can't bend my leg from the swelling and the pain is unbearable.

Oh well.

I'm not really pissed off, just annoyed that it might prevent me from playing.
I'm clearly a sucker for punishment.

I know a lot of you are probably religious here but it really annoys me when people say 'thank god' for the most stupid things. Some girl who went missing at that Swedish House Mafia gig got home safely and more or less everyone is saying it, what about the people who died/got stabbed and are now in serious conditions at the same gig? Ignorance in my mind.

i mean i'm not really on terpit's side about getting all butthurt at every mention of "god", but i mean, i do think the only kinds of god that aren't ridiculous to believe in are entities that would be better described by words other than "god". when the vast majority of people say "god", they're talking about an omnipotent, omniscient personal being - which is, imo, wholy absurd. stuff like deism or pantheism on the other hand, i have no qualms with, i just hardly call such ideas "gods"

Oh God guys don't ever smoke spice. We smoked black magic today at the beach, and I jumped off of a 15 foot ledge, and instead of my body bracing for the water, I just tripped balls and got water stuck in my ear. Ended up laying on the beach sweating my ass off in the Sun tripping my tits off.
