Here's a tune I'm working on, any feedback would be great.

Sounds like there's a problem with your sub bass. In some areas of your tune it's completely inaudible (at least on my setup, which, granted, definitely isn't the best). I'd use a frequency analyzer of some sort to make sure you're not dipping into frequencies below 20hz or lower. Plus, it'll destroy a lot of headroom taking away from the "full" sound of your track. The main idea is there and your percussion is definitely on point.

Yeah, I hear that, I was trying to keep it real low, but it doesn't sound bad an octave up I guess. I was trying to write it for club soundsystems as opposed to my own, which is also pretty basic I guess, but it's worked on some tunes more than others.

I think there's a problem with the sub too. Does anyone else hear that crackle?
Do you say zerbaman? Or do you say zebraman?

Mixwise like others have said it's struggling in the bass area. Maybe try layering up a soft bass on top to fill things out.

Good tune, Like the beat. Are you using loops for the swing feel?

Thanks
But what do you mean?
I'm using FL studio, so everything is looped really.

As above, I would fix the bass issues, but regardless, solid tune. It's real chill imo and I enjoyed it completely. :)

Cheers glad you did.
And yeah, I've changed that. The entire bassline really, not sure if I'm happy with it yet. After a few minutes, they just start to sound off key.
I'll update when things are more stable.

One thing I've found helpful when getting sub-basslines to fit is to bring them up like 3 octaves so its in the midrange; it makes the tones clearer in my opinion and easier to work with.

Yeah I keep doing that an not trusting. I think it's probably due to my general lack of sleep. Been up for most of this week.
