Apparently catapult were absolutely swamped with orders last night, so they're going to distribute on a first come first serve basis.

yeah I have to say the more I listen to the sound-bites that Boddika put up, the less interested I get in the release. I like it still, but it's got nothing on the first 2 releases, the tracks are a bit..dull to be honest. I like Nil, sounds very AMUS-esque, not feeling Moist really, and Faint is OK (the only part I like about it on that youtube rip - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0dwgLGhnWQ - is when the Appointment track is mixed in during the latter half, I've got that record too so I'll be giving that one a go fo sho).

Be interested to see what everyone thinks of it after it's been released.

*way more excited for the Midland & Pariah release, now THAT is a belter.

ordered mine at phonica, after getting this email from redeye, thinking i had it covered...

"'m very sorry but we are not able to supply this record as promised.

We have only received 50 copies from our order of 300 and we have had
to give these to customers who have used us the most.

When the record was listed as a pre-order I checked with the
distributor to see if they could give us 300 copies, the distributor
then asked the label if this was fine and it was confirmed back to us
that it was. There was then a delay due to a pressing fault and I
checked again at this point that the amount was still ok and was told
it would be fine. Last week I was told that the record was shipping
this week and that orders would be cut down, I asked by how much and
was told that they should just about be able to sort out the copies we
had pre-sold (around 200). Yesterday afternoon I was told that they
had shipped me 50 and that was that.

I am sure that you will not be impressed with this but there is
nothing that I can do now but refund you. I apologise and I wish that
there was some way around this.

In all the years of doing pre-orders this has never happened, in fact
we have never failed to fill a pre-order.

Cheers, Tom."

so if you pre ordered at redeye, id try seeking it elsewhere

That's for Ellipsis, there was no pressing fault with SUNKLOFREE

Been took off idle hands already..
Tried getting it but wouldn't show in the shopping cart then disappeared..
So I've ordered it from catapault last night, which blatantly ain't gonna come,
Ordered it from phonica but looked straight after and it said sold out so not holding high hopes,
Now missed it at idle hands..

Then to top it off, get an email from red eye saying my ellipsis pre order not fulfilled.. So yeah really good day on the limited vinyl front.. Who says vinyls dead?

Right I've ordered 4 sunklofree's now and 3 ellipsis.. If I do get my allocation and there's any left over, I'll be more than willing to sell them on for the price I paid for them.. And if none of them actually come.. Then stuff it.. Ellipsis is a banger but sunklofree is waaay overhyped IMO.. I find it funny that joys two best tracks, you can still actually buy on vinyl from most record stores.. I.e hyph mngo and sicko cell

Mental right?
Too many people get exploited on these limited vinyl releases.. Don't get me wrong, it is quite fun trying to tack one down before they sell out.. But I'm self employed and had to come home early to try and bag one of these.. I'd rather lose two hours of work and make it up tomorrow than pay 30quid on discogs come Friday.
