these tunes are defo oldies... 'default' being real early from prob 2007 and the other one slightly newer. there were soooo many in those days... lots of good tunes, but tbh a lot of the themes were reused on tracks that came out on tempa around that time, so there's really no need for these to be released now.

certainly these are nowhere near his current output (as in projector / clone / other stuff forthcoming), so imo this release is not doing headhunter any good.

oh well, still not bad tunes, i guess... not great, but could be a lot worse, right?

Maktu is easily my favourite Headhunter tune. Been waiting for that one, and I wont rest before it gets a release. It got that real canibalistic headhunter skank-type feel too it.

Copped this from bm soho - they are old tracks which yunx personally released through bm soho.. from what i heard it was going to be exclusive to the store, but clearly they're available online too. Ridiculous tunes, so great to get some unheard headhunter - he is easily in my top 3 producers, such a shame he doesnt produce much in this vein anymore

Good to see this is finally released to the masses. I got this one 1 year and half ago during christmas in London. Was spending a weekend in London, going to BM Soho and getting this one proposed as a Test Press, i could take the vinyl along for 5 pounds. And i even got the promo cd aswell. When i heard it on that system in bm in the basement, i was excited to get it. Good tunes, wish he made more of that kind of tunes.
