I still think the tunes are sick but it is the weakest of the 3 releases.

Like someone said all the hype is over everyone being scared of the limited amount of copies, which is understandable because once it is sold out and you don't have it then it's frustrating. I don't have Wun or Tuu due to not having the money at the time so regret that but i am not making the mistake again.

Just hoping for a re-press of them.

tbh Can't say right now if it's the weakest, when I first heard the Youtube rips and soundcloud samples I felt like I wasted my last tenner. But after playing them out loud they definitely sound more interesting and worth the hassle and hype.

Yeah I've noticed this a lot recently with vinyl, I kinda wish everybody did it like Four Tet & Burial by saying it's limited but pressing up shit loads (maybe not thousands), that way the record gets hype and everybody gets a copy that in a few years is rare.

btw I was talking about the first two tunes not the releases

I think it was Theo Parrish or Moodymann who said in an interview: They didnt understand why people felt they had the right to own every piece of music they chose to. Music should be a gift and a representation of being in a certain place at a certain time. A bit like art, people should be proud of what they do have not angry about what they dont.

I quite liked that theory. I'm sure youve got tunes that represent to you being around in 2004/5, when distribution was really tight (before ST or SRD got involved.) that you quite like being the only one of your mates to have.

That said ive got my copy so its easy for me to say :6:

Just cos it's limited doesn't mean it's good, stop hyping over it you dimlos.
It's funny how all the haters seem to suddenly come out of the woodwork only when the record has sold out
Haha yeah or not, if I liked it, which I don't, i'd nip down to Vinyl Underground & pick it up, but i'm not going to do that because there are plenty better records for me to buy and enjoy for years, unlike this shit which won't mean fuck all in five years time. fuck it, not even five years, a years time. shit.

Every track on this record is fucking sick. Might be the weakest of the bunch ni your opinion, but to say this record is bad is just crazy. Nil is going to be a percy.

Yeah i didn't say that any tunes on this release are bad by any stretch. I bought the vinyl so obviously i think it is a big releases, the level at which the others were though means that i feel this is the weakest one of the lot.

Just got this in the post...:corndance:

the weakest one? I'm excited about this one because it sounds 'different'. I wouldn't call it the weakest, maybe the odd one out is better to say. So stop whining please....

Not whining, was merely commenting on the fact of the hype around the release.
