She can rap. She's pretty. She can be a popstar for as long as she can keeping picking good beats. I don't think she's exactly trying to oust Lauryn Hill or be the next Chuck D, she's just spitting fast, sassy rubbish over club beats - it's been a pretty reliable formula for one or two hit wonders for over 20 years now.
It's kind of weird that *all* rappers are forced to compete with each other like this, when most of them are in pretty distinct lanes of their own.
