In order of quality - eBay/CraigsList/local thrift stores

Search '[genre] vinyl collection' as your search criteria for the first two, and for the thrift stores either take a portable player or just buy blind.

DnR vinyl usually have 'starter packs'.... heap of gash tunes, but good for learning to mix i guess.

:lol:

I love remixes by otherwise great producers when it sounds like they're not even trying. Switch's remix of Lily Allen - LDN sounds like he went down the pub and left the studio intern in charge of the sampler;

Excuse the graphic, only video link I could find.

Take a trip to the city and go to a record shop, chances are there is a DJ who works there hawking his old vinyl . Buying blind in thrift stores is fun, worst case you wasted a quarter. Also keep an eye out for garage sales and such, I just had to pass up a garage sale with boxes of vinyl and a reel to reel because I was laid off and out of money :u: .
Shops and online I find are the most reliable ways to get EDM, thrift stores and garage sales usually have classic rock with the odd disco or children's record which are awesome for pulling samples.
