true spoken man in the end its for fun and for a learning curve
cant wait for the next one cause i got confused haha i thought its only about samples but its about what to do with the sounds you provide so i totally ignored synths

I entered the reece samples, kind of wish i left the second stabby one out and added some better percussion.I should of entered some snares and that because the ones in the breaks just sound to weak and the single one added well

Will work something out though, got the punch out of the snare but just lacks a bit of body and reverb ain't cutting it.

All Fm with a buttload of distortion

For those that may not have thought about it, timestretch and pitch it down for an amazing bass or pad.

I liked that synth because even after massive distortion, you can still clearly hear the stepping sine and the melodic distortion.

I uploaded that one and potluck drums. Aside from the Carlin sample, I made all of those sounds. They've just been waiting in my samples folder though because I couldn't figure out what to do with them.BudSpencertron wrote:haha i thought about it but couldnt work it into the tune maybe for my third tunezerbaman wrote:Cocksuckermotherfuckertits anyone?

Re: Potluck Sample Contest SAMPLEPACK UP, GET ON IT WARRIORS
Thanks man. Can't wait to hear how everyone's using the samples.
I've had a few fragments of ideas and was trying to think of a way to connect and I guess I could make two tunes, but I'll probably have enough trouble finishing one! lol
Just wondering as to how strict the rules are: If we used a vocoder, do both the carrier and modulator have to be samples from the pack? I managed to get the sound I was looking for using samples for both, but I don't know if I'll use it or not. For any of you using budspencer's dialogue stuff, try a vocoder with a white noise-y sound for the carrier
