Hmm, I think both the AWD and Root remixes are a little boring tbh but not exactly offensive on the ears. Let's be honest though the Kryptic Minds Remix and VIP of Root are far superior. Why the VIP wasn't the released version I'll never know. It's like Rutten, the VIP existed before the released one.

I beg your pardon but how is this better than the original?

Of course the original is quality. That sort of goes without saying. Don't know if I'd say the VIP is necessarily better than the original but it's a nice version and it could have been cool to see it released. Reminds me of a sort of hybrid of Root and Midnight. What I meant by why it wasn't the released version is that it was around first and except a few cases like Rutten or Follow Me that doesn't happen much.

back on topic - i hate the term 'refix'. to me it implies that the original was somehow not quite good enough or something. a few producers are 'refixing' tracks and its just insulting to see.

no it doesn't imply that at all. otherwise it would just say fix. it is just using a metaphor of "fixing" for composing. you take the track apart, and put it back together in a different way.

refix.

that's all.

some people...

yeah, it implies that to you for no good reason.

therefore you're either just being a douche for the sake of it or you haven't really thought it through.

Stop bitching man, I'm just saying, I personally think that the word 'refix' has implications of repair. Is logic not a good reason? If anyone is being a douche for the sake of it it's you for picking this up man. Take it easy :w:
