i succeeded in making the weirdest sounding sh*t ever.
and believe me, i tried.
pretty retarded statement. sidechaining has more effects than just blending kick and sub..take kryptic minds for example, they sidechain their shakers with a very hard knee to the main drum kit to make the shakers duck around all the other drums. unless you were to actually draw in all the automation for each shaker hit, i don't see how else this would be accomplished. that being said i do agree with good mixing being a higher priority than sidechaining.EXP wrote:Sidechaining is for house producers and lazy people
Sry i forgot to choose the font for ironic statementspretty retarded statement.
sign.OP, even though your track is brostep synth fapping, if you're just starting out you have a good start. read up on compression, you could honestly slap a compressor or even a hard limiter on that drum kit and get it more prominent in the mix, provided you've done a little homework. keep it up.
