I couldn't get the time off as its summer holiday still for the people I work with, so they have kids off and take all their annual leave around then.
Tried to sell it to make the money back but couldn't for love nor money and then realized I could do Dimensions if they would allow a ticket swap and presumably because its "new" and a week later its alot cheaper to get to. Riddles is going with a mate so I can hopefully camp with them rather than being on my ones aswell

Ah fair enough, lucky its the same folk doing dimensions eh? The lineup looks quality, it'll be a blinder!

I just heard a cat meowing under my window and figured that it would probably be mine. So I went outside to see what was going on and there she sat with a little dead mouse in front of her, meowing at it.
So I went into the garden to get a shovel so that I could pick the mouse up and throw it in the bin. When I returned, however, she had already eaten all of it and now there's a bit of mouse intestine left on my driveway....
Saved me 1 can of catfood though.

i read that cats often catch mice and birds and then bring it to your attention because they think you're a terrible hunter and want to provide for you

Yeah I think you're right, I think I read that too one day. That they bring home dead mice and birds as a gift to their owners.
Mine just took it all for herself though
