The last thing i want is him having an arch nemesis, despite how useless an ememy he would be.
Yeah, that would only really work if you had twins and gave them half an amulet each.

Re: Faust has sown a seed...
I've toyed with the idea of when my first child is born, starting a savings fund for them somewhere that can only be accessed by going to the bank and presenting half an amulet, leaving the other half with the bank.
They're given their half from birth and told to hold onto it for one day it'll be important, then when they turn 17 giving them a birthday card with a series of cryptic puzzles. If they solve the puzzles, they get the name of the bank and a clue to the amulet's importance.
They then go to the bank, present their half of the amulet, see the matching half and get access to the savings fund, which they can then use to buy their first car.
This idea is somewhat hampered by the fact that you can't guarantee a particular bank will still be trading in 17yrs time.

lol, serious? what if your child is thick and can't do the puzzles?
Re: Faust has sown a seed...
Then I'll have the money back to spend on myself and disown them the following year when they turn 18.idontreallygiveashit wrote:lol, serious? what if your child is thick and can't do the puzzles?

Glad to hear everything's going well Trav - I could see you leading a little Huey into the world.
Huey's are cool...

... except for when they realise their name sounds like throwup of course.

This is such a great idea but, yep, that possibility does slighty put a dampener on things slightly.
How about bury the loot and give them a treasure map?

Could give them a whole amulet at birth and a series of puzzles on their 18th birthday, revealing a hidden compartment in the amulet with a key and yet more puzzles. The puzzles in the amulet are co-ordinates for a house that the key opens. There is a locked safe in an upstairs room (or back room if it's a bungalow) that a 3rd set of puzzles found in the house give access to. Inside the safe is the deed to the house in their name.

Re: Faust has sown a seed...
I think [ A-li-sha ] would be the most common over-reaching American pronunciation...
Americans don't do [ c'ia ]
Latinos would....
like Patricia - we say [ pa-trish-a ] when it should be [ Pa-tri'-c'ia ]
pa tree c'ia
I feel like I'm putting on airs when I say it like that [ Pa-tri'-c'ia ]
like, my neighbors would smack the shit out of me and then tease for days....

Tyrone is a bit American for me, but Reginald is a truly brilliant name. It needs a comeback.JizzMan wrote:Tyrone Szatamari, he'll be an amazing getaway driver
