Post by yoshisteppa » Wed Jul 25, 2012 11:18 pm

Does anyone have any tips on how to Eq and master a track, to get it to sound proffesional quality? All of my tracks are not crystal clear like they should be

Then the problem is your mixing.

Its all in the mixdown. Find what is making everything unclear and use eq to make it sit together better. I have a spectrum analyzer on every track and I eq the individual instruments to sit together so they don't fight each other. If you are mastering yourself all you should have to do is put a limiter on the master channel.
