Loadstar Synth?

Post by mike dolo » Thu Jul 26, 2012 1:21 am

Hi there. I have a really simple question. I'm using Massive and I'm trying to reproduce the synth that opens this mix. I'm trying to learn by mimicry. I'm getting close but I just don't have enough experience in sound design to hit it spot on. I just love how pure it sounds.

I don't need too much detail, I know my way around Massive well enough to understand a general description of how to get this sound. While I'm here, I might as well ask how you recreate the effect you hear at 1:56 in the same video. Where would you even start?

If your talking about the synth that starts at around 0:10 it sounds simply like a saw wave with a bit of portamento and maybe a bit of vibrato.
NEW SONG listen please:)
