Hard to describe for me mate. Just a certain feeling I get when listening to music like Nurse With Wound for example. The general eerie and slightly disturbing vibe I guess? Without being so over the top and in your face about it. Make sense?

Nurse With Wound is cool, and I've liked Merzbow for a long time. I don't really like the Detund or Qebrus type stuff though, never liked Schirach. It's too digital and clean sounding I think. Chiptune is usually great though, it finds a balance between clean digital and lofi noise.

Well, I think weird touches on what I mentioned in my first post here. I find a piece of music weird if I understand it and I find it, in comparison to other music I've heard, to be unconventional. The tune the OP posted, was something I just didn't understand, I can't really pass judgement on it, all I can say is that I didn't understand it, but the aesthetics of the piece were pretty familiar.
The tune I posted however is different, or at least was at the time I originally heard it, to virtually everything I've come across, it's layers of white noise. That's it. It's noise in it's purest form, well, there's a distorted and reversed piano, but you get the gist. But I understood it, I felt the atmosphere of the piece close in on me, and I consider it to be an effective piece of music.

Original post is an example of some cool sound design but no interesting musical ideas is all I'd say

Yes, and i pressed play on some tracks too! I guess maybe i'm weird because stuff like this is the first type of music i ever listened to seriously, and when i discovered it it never really seemed weird to me... just realised these were the sounds i had been looking for as i nevered really enjoyed music before it . You'd be surprised about how many people make and consume this stuff.

By the way, if anybody has any cool breakcore/glitch/noise/drone/other/"weird" stuff to share, post it here please

Like a lot of his stuff, particularly his Chance Meeting recordings.

Saw him live not too long ago, was a load of shit.
