totally agree with you on the synth mate, it could be a little bit quieter. I didn't really think of making it to be aimed at an MC but now you mention it, I would love to hear somebody spray on this.

Thanks to everybody for the feedback and support, I'll probably put the final mix up for free download, I was also thinking of putting together a free 4 track EP with this/Harsh Frequency/Let it Ring & a different, softer 808/trap style track that im currently working on.

The whole EP will be in this style, going back to my hip hop roots but with some of what i've learnt from other genres along the way. hopefully people will like

Dude, this song is sick as fuck! very well produced, and very well mixed. The only thing I can hear is just a tad clash with the vocals and that one synth, but it is an extremely minimal problem. Idk if you should even change it. Btw, you should try and get this signed.

nice one Nick, I'll deffo have a tweak at the synth and vocal, its been buggin me too each time i listen back. thanks for your positive feedback, what labels do you think might be interested in this or put out stuff with a similar sound? (if any)

To be honest, I'm not too familiar with too many labels that do trap :/. I would look for some though, I think that it is well produced enough to be signed. I would try and make one or two more trap songs to give them a better idea of your style before you send it though.

I think you'll find that tune you posted is a complete rip off of this...
So if anything, Machinedrum bit the original because they did no different than i did to that sample.

I had never heard of that machinedrum tune till you posted it, and if you knew me you would know i treat sampling very seriously. If I think or know somebody else has used a sample I want too use at a similar tempo, I would just leave it all together.

& I've just checked his age, he's 18 so I cant blame his lack of knowledge, but I know guys the same age with a much broader understanding on music and sampling.

jheez, i never get angry over the fukin internet but when somebody makes a claim like that it makes me so mad lol, nothing worse than being called a biting producer

I like your track mate, got a nice boom to it and the lead has a cool rythm, for me the vocal over the top of the lead, bass and drums was a bit hectic, but I like this style
