as a non-white with almost exclusively non-white friends, i can safely say that every one of us would get negative responses by our families for stepping out of our accepted cultural norms, let alone bullied by our peers who were brought up that way. i just always like to know more about the person and how they managed to defy the restrictive cultures and regressive ideologies blacks and asians normally have imposed on them. i've found that blacks and asians who act and dress outlandish usually only have white friends, and i find that interesting, at least here in the UK and i can't comment on any other races tbf. u get me?

ahhh, so i now see your problem - the fact that i used the term "non-white" when referring to minority races in countries where the majority of people are "white". I probably should have said African, Afro-Carribean, North African, Middle Eastern, Arab, South Asian, East Asian, Hispanic, Latino, Pacific Islander, Jewish, Native American, Aborigine, etc. would have made for a beautifully politically correct read
