Has everyone noticed that you can see everything live on the iPlayer? The BBC are running like 15 live channels at the moment!Shum wrote:da fuq? I was expecting them to show a few more of the 1st session table tennis games, they only showed one mens and one womens game. little downs Olympic coverage.

And that "restart current programme" option just fucking came into it's own. This is amazing.

Belgian channel covered it well, cheecky looked when judo was up at ours to the British and NOC and both were laughable to say the least

I'm really not a fan of the arctic monkeys at all but I enjoyed their performance.idontreallygiveashit wrote:I'm know i'm a bit late with this, but apart from dizee fucking rascal , the arctic fucking monkeys, that singer who i thinks number 4 in the charts or something and the whole "omg bbz were r u 2nite" shit, i thought the opening ceremony was really good!

Re: London 2012 Olympics Rolling Thread
can somebody explain all this post-cycling "everyone was against us" stuff? I don't really understand the sport properly and can't work out how the other nations supposedly made it impossible for Britain to win?
Re: London 2012 Olympics Rolling Thread
Everyone was against them because they set pace for 80% of.the race

Re: London 2012 Olympics Rolling Thread
britain have cavendish- the fastest sprinter in the world by quite a way (only greipel of Germany can get near him) aswell as a strong team to help him.
Being the favourites, many of the other teams attacked again and again to affect a breakaway and prevent a bunch finish with only germany helping slightly to pull the attacks back. By the last time up Box Hill, the British team were spent from all the chasing (its much easier to ride in the back of the peleton than at the front as Britain were doing) and they couldn't pull the breakaway back made up of fresh riders desperately working together to avoid being caught by the British, as they wouldn't have a chance- only going for the win in the last 5-10 km when they knew they were safe.
