Its alright to be fair, there are more positives than negatives imo, its just easy to winge about the stupidity here. Takes a few years to get used to it but most people pretty much act the same here as they do in the UK (to an extent).

They even have different shopping centres for the more Islamic people because a lot of them wont shop somewhere that has a hotel which sells alcohol affiliated with it.

Yeah to an extent, a few years back every building in progress seemed to be deserted but the government sold the plots for cheap if the buyers signed contracts saying they would finish the construction. I read they had 66% of the worlds cranes here before the financial crisis - sounds stupid but the skyline used to be just cranes.
