A DJ since 1993 and a producer since 1998, Amir Alexander has been behind some of the rawest productions to come out of Chicago in quite sometime. With his label, Vanguard Sound, Amir has had the freedom to create & curate new works inspired by the classic acid, jack and techno sounds forged in Chicago, Detroit & NYC. His latest release, The Gutter Flex EP (Argot 2012), has been steadily making its way into every DJs bag.
