sorry i forgot Americans don't understand sarcasm. What I meant was, it's called FOOTBALL, not SOCCER.
HAH!
...I do love when people unintentionally make fools of themselves. Especially when they do so while thinking they are making other people look stupid.
EDIT: oh, also, as an aside, the word 'soccer' actually originated in England. Sorry you had to find out like this.

If we are beating teams with NBA players by 83 I CA. Only imagine what we would do to a grid iron team from Germany or south Africa. Ray Lewis decapitating the quarterback from.Belgium

As an American, I think this is a lame idea. American Football is BOOOOORING [to me.] 12 minutes of action in 3 hours? Trick, please.
To be fair, euro football aka soccer is also boring to me... so much running, so little scoring, so much dancy-kicky muck-uppery...
Most sports bore me. Unless they're played by hot gals wearing revealing outfits, and then suddenly - I'm interested.
But that's just me.

Sick to death of this shit now, all media is like 80% this shit, toffs winning gold medals in elitest sports thats I'm supposed to be proud of, taking place in a city where the councils are using the event as a social cleansing exercise disguised as 'regeneration'.

Have watched a fair amount of this olympics so far (largely due to working in a bar with a TV facing me) and only one thing has really captivated me. Gemma Gibbons in the judo! That was fucking AWESOME to watch! Was so happy for her, first bit of pride ive felt watching the olympics. But no for team GB, just watching someone give such an honest, all out performace, and totally getting her underdog on. Was fucking awesome. The ippon in the semi BOOM!!
