Id have to agree with this, though I think the reason your asking the question is because this theme or idea (directly occupy movement related or not) wasnt fully explained or portrayed....dfaultuzr wrote:is it just me or was there a anti-occupy movement subtext in that movie ?
OK, so thieves (catwoman) want to steal from the rich, and her mate Bane (they are somehow connected but we're never told how, were just meant to take it all crims are mates) wants to smash up the stock exchange building for a few mins (lame), then blow up Gotham (btw havnt we seen this before from a certain other crazed villian?)....
Then we learn Bane is from the League of Shadows (maybe thats where he knows catewoman from, & why she can fight
So whats the motive, did they want to take back the wealth, just scare people in stock exchange, or just blow up Gotham? Its one or the other in my book.
Catwoman was cheesy & one dimensional.
Bane had a big presence that fizzled out, how he died was shit.
It did need more Batman, the broken back thing was meh,
if there was only one that ever escaped the prison (the chick) then how did Bane get out? can people not count?
It needed a more original plot ( it was pretty much the same as the last 2 joined together)
I enjoyed it, but it could have been so much better...
Maybe we expect too much after Heath Ledger nailed it as the Joker...
