actually - no

nu rave is all the scenester hoxton and shoreditch fruits get together looking completely retarded, get mashed off ket, rave around in trailer trash, boombox, foreign, AYCE, or whatever else is on that night, go to an after party, check their myspace for where the party is the next night, and then do the same all over again ...

i think you people are talking about the people who want to be in the nu rave scene but they're too clueless so they do the topman version instead

... tits

Why are you posting this here? Can't see any connection with dubstep whatsoever!

They all wear those daft big slogan t-shirts and other 20 year old fashion trends. I've heard that dubstep gets played in between bands/shit tunes at some indie clubs
Don't talk to me about soundsystems, I've been to Leeds...

In Australia nu-rave is just retarded rich stnuc who eat more pills then they need or can handle and listen to the SHITTEST of house while dancing like they're epileptic or trying to be Peter Garret. Dress the same as those pics aswell, it won't be long till they start heading to warehouse party's and fuck them up like they've fucked up most of our festivals over here. Hope these retards don't end up being politicians aswell.

I'm reading between the lines here, but something's definitely got your goat about this noo rave thing.

Maybe see if the doctor can prescribe you some anti-flouro tablets and then see if you can find it within yourself to enjoy this music.
Hmm....

I figured it was called nu rave 'cos it sounds a bit like new wave with all the shitty trebly sounding guitars and the people who like it dress like twats and munch too many pills. (OK I'm generalising).

Nothing about it resembles old rave, which really pushed boundaries in so many ways. There was even specific legislation against it, the 1994 Criminal Justice Act with it's "amplified repetitive beats" clause.
Never buy anything by the Japanese artist TDK. Their CD's contain nothing but silence!

You know mate. I fucking marched against that shit in the early 90's (didn't do any good naturally)

Fair play to Mr Bok Bok, people enjoying themselves is what it's all about. It's just in the shadow of old rave it just seems a bit too trendy and a little less groundbreaking. It ain't 92 any more though, so fair play to the new ravers :D

u need to be good looking to be a nu raver or it doesnt work, at least with dubstep u can be FUCKING BUTTERS and no1 bats an eyelid. but its probably why only about 5 girls listen to dubstep when u think about it, the rest are off lookin at guys in neon drainpipes, not fat fellas in hoodies.
u must be typing pretty fast right now wit all that agression! chill out man, maybe u will feel better if you wear a clock as a necklace and get a perm.

The ugliness of dubsteppers is pure mythology. Its technical name 'bassface' is only a temporary side effect. As soon as you leave the club your features return to normal.

I do develop the skrewface look thou when out of said club i come across neon dressed nu ravers.
