So his 6 golds beats Phelps' : x? Joker
Tell you what, if there were 5 different 100M sprinting events (100M Sprinting while singing the Macarena, 100M Sprinting while waving ur arms in da air like u jus don currr, Regular 100M, 100M wearing a cowboy hat, 100m in a g-string) then Bolt would win as comprehensively as Phelps does. Swimming is definitely the event you need to take up if you want to become an all time top medal winner, and I'll leave it at that
I would definitely be up for competing in the 100m 100m while singing the macarena. :Q:

I also think looking at number of medals is ridiculous too.

Someone like Steve Redgrave is a much better all time olympian in my book. He won a gold medal in five consecutive games

The whole idea of a greatest is ridiculous. There have been tens of thousands of Olympians going back over a century - or 3000 years if you really want to get neurotic about it - that's a big old list to work your way through, especially when you've only been alive for 7 or 8 of them like most of us!

Just stand back and allow yourself to be impressed. I doubt Phelps or Bolt give a flying fuck who anyone thinks is "better", they're too busy knowing they're the best.

huge achievement. One of the greats for sure - domination over 16 years, that is serious business

Big up Valerie Adams getting her silver bumped up to a gold after the gold medal winner tested positive for a banned substance.

The decathalon.winner would obviously be the.best athlete

Being good at one thing.makes you a.specialist. I'm more impressed.by Carl Lewis who won the100m and the long jump. Two entirely different skills and he was the.best.man.on.earth

Denars Robinson has challenged bolt to a 40 yard dash. Robinson did a sub 4 40 yard in pads on.grass. I think he'd win a 40 lose a 100 badly

You do know He won gold in both in the same.olympics twice

And prior to.bolt was the only person to win the 100 and 200 at two straight Olympics

So.he did what bolt did and then won the long.jump. twice

lol thats not even what im talking about.

im talking about the skill sets between the two sports being similair.

not identical obviously, but i know for a fact that they share a lot of principles when it comes to training for each event.

Can you be more specific please,

1/ Which US basketball player won five golds in five consecutive olympics?

2/ How is a sport that most of the US population play comparable to a sport that a minority of people partake in in England?

thanks
