Haven't heard any of the tunes yet, not going to listen to them on digital until I go out and bag it physically

Not sure if I'll like it, but I'm stoked to have a DMZ vinyl

Well I really want to actually have a copy of it (it's Coki, it's DMZ) but I don't really dig any of the tunes, yet...

just because it's DMZ doesn't mean you have to like it...

on board and mid june/throttle are wicked, really dont like drop n run. the other tune (cant remember) is good but not a banger, the way the drums start is just a bit gagglefucky for me. brilliant material from the cokes tho

p.s. buying music because 'its coki' is retarded and lame, find ur own taste

Releasing later on Big Iron

Are his mixdowns getting worse? Or is he just using harsher sounds?

I just want Badness/The Balance. :corncry:

and dark thoughts

at least he released haymaker. still needa bag that tho..

Seems like everyone's impression of the album is pretty mediocre? I opted to buy Kromestar's colorful vibrations pt 1 on vinyl instead of this

Glad I did, it sold out the day after I ordered it

Yeah what's up with the mixdowns on Coki tunes lately? With the exception of Marduk and possibly Tree Trunk all of his recent releases are pretty uncomfortable listening... All of the tunes on this EP have this harshness in the drums and synths at around 2500hz, and it was the same with the first one. It just sounds amateur, not what you'd expect from one of the best dubstep producers ever. Has he gotten lazy?

EDIT: Not to mention there's some crackles in the digital version that I really can't explain... Mid June Madness sounds like a radio rip

It's the same again for both the digital and vinyl version, not impressed.

Where was it mastered/pressed? Transition?
