I say "I will get you a ticket today if you want, pay me back later" to someone yesterday and the question is totally avoided for three more responses.

Today I get "blah blah blah buy me and XXX a ticket and ill pay you back in Oct"

I might be the laziest, most loathsome person I know.

Can someone decide whether I'm being an unreasonably grumpy fuck here?

Me and my housemates threw a party a month or so ago... we moved it back a month (and away from my birthday) because one of the girls was going to be away on the original date. Party went off with a bang, but the girl it got moved for showed her face for about 10 minutes and then went to bed with her boyfriend. No biggie... we had a great time, they missed out.

Now, it's her boyfriend's birthday and they've decided they're having a house party tomorrow... fine... only they don't even have a fucking CD player, let alone amps and speakers that can move a party so they turned up at my door last night asking if they could use all my shit which they've just realised is the only decent hi-fi equipment in the flat since her DJ ex-boyfriend moved out.

I know what her hipster-ass, kethead-ass, electrohouse-ass mates are like and there is frankly no way I'm leaving them alone with my cd decks, mixers, speakers and amps while they're getting fucked up on research chems (we've still got fucking holes in the wall from one of her parties a couple of years ago!)... and I'm on call and working on Saturday, so can't really stay up all night making sure nothing happens.

So for the moment I've said that I really don't want to pull my room apart when I'm supposed to be working from it all weekend so it's a no... but I never say no to people and I feel proper guilty... am I being a cunt here? Shouldn't they have just come to the fucking party that we had all agreed on or, like, thought about how they were going to play music before deciding to have a party?

Oh, and the twat asked for another "fiver" of weed too. I just gave him a look this time. Half of me's worried about getting in anyway fucked up around him... I might just fucking let rip.
