NI Massive Tutorials

Post by iamTyGr » Tue Aug 14, 2012 5:59 pm

Hey everyone, Just thought I would start this topic on Native Instruments Massive, I've been uploading multiple tutorials on YouTube, started a Tutorial group on Facebook, so why not bring the love over to the forums<3

First off please do NOT post music links in here or anything that doesn't concern NI Massive.

Be kind to others, nobody is perfect and this is for people who are trying to learn more about the VST.

Thanks for stopping by!

No offence, but I don't see the point in tutorials in which nothing gets explained.
Might as well give out the patch and save yourself the time.

I don't see the point in tutorials where they sound awful, but people keep posting them.

I checked that Excision/Datsik tutorial out hoping someone would have figured out how he gets those weird metallic overtones in them, but it was basically just a distorted wobble :C

Anyway, I guess it's good that you're doing tutorials trying to help people but you should do it in a less spammy, attentionwhorey way. Write up an explanation on why you do what you do and someone might learn something. This whole 'like me on facebook for free presetzzzz' thing isn't so cool really, and wobbles like that are a dime a dozen anyway.

Here's a tutorial I did on getting somewhat of a KTN sound by using Massive plus the WOW vst and a couple others.. Sorry for those who don't appreciate my tutorials, It's not like I have to go out of my way to help you, I do this to share the knowledge and learn from other people, not to put others down and be a dick about it, I'm not spamming anything I'm posting tutorials lol. You don't have to go like me on Facebook or anything, If you don't like how I do things then don't bother even writing in this forum.. Also, I don't explain every single thing I'm doing because that would take way longer, I've seen tutorials where people don't even tell you what to do so why don't you go bash on them as well. Thanks for your kindness everyone :W:

Well, I like to think of this as a place where people come to get a deeper understanding of their production. What you're doing is basically catering to the kids that want a fast step by step guide to be Skrillex. Not saying that it's wrong but in my eyes you're kind of watering down what makes this forum good by just posting shallow tutorials that don't provide any real insight. I'm not bashing you, just saying that maybe this isn't the place, we already have youtube for that. The only thing you're posting is some fucking copypasta that says 'Like me on Facebook', for all we know you're doing this on a billion forums. My point is, if you want to be appreciated here put some effort into your posts.

Also, and this is on a differetn subject, but that KTN tutorial kinda sounded like a screwdriver to me...

Hahahahahahha this is the only forum I've even registered on, and I'm sorry my video titles aren't spot on, the title doesn't say " How to sound exactly like skrillex" it's my own style, Like I said you guys don't have to watch my tutorials lol. It doesn't bother me any, you're all just wasting your time if you're complaining about it because I'm still going to make more tutorials. So keep on talking... :t:
